Check a file.
Drop a file or paste a hash. Your device works out the file's fingerprint, and nothing is uploaded. The page then looks for that fingerprint in the public ledger.

What a result means
- A fingerprint (hash) is a short code worked out from a file. Change one byte of the file and the code changes completely.
- Found means this exact file's fingerprint was sealed in a block, so the file existed in this exact form when the block was made. It does not say the file is good or true.
- Not found means no block holds it. The ledger holds only what Chiibitsu Labs has sealed, and a file that was edited after sealing will not match.
The contract and how to check it are on the ledger page.
